About Me

Frances has taught piano students for over 30 years. In addition to teaching a small number of piano students in her Elizabethtown piano studio, she is a church organist and she has taught "Introduction to Music" classes at colleges in Elizabethtown and Louisville.

Some of her goals are to develop the student’s love of music, to grow the student’s understanding of music notation and technical control, to build strength at the keyboard, to heighten the student’s rhythmic sense, to improve the student’s ability to listen sensitively, to promote a positive attitude toward sharing music, to build poise in performance, and to develop effective practice strategies.
