I am a very blessed individual! I have been married for twenty years to my husband Harold and we have three awesome kids. Although I anticipated a long career teaching music in the public schools, the desire to be more available to my family gave me the opportunity to teach piano in my home and I love it! I enjoy developing a relationship with my students and watching them grow physically as well as musically. I have been teaching private piano for over twenty years and I hope to teach twenty more! |

| What I Teach | |
One of my main objectives is music literacy. I want my students to become independent readers so they can enjoy a piece of music that appeals to them without me having to be there. (I tell my students that I’m trying to work myself out of a job!) I also work hard to instill good study and practice habits. These are skills that not only will help them to enjoy playing music, but will help them in all areas of life. My hope for each one of my students is that they will become a life-long learner of music and will enjoy playing the piano throughout the course of their life. |
