Bellarmine Fundraiser Piano Sale
Gist Piano Center and several of its business partners are once again joining forces to host a benefit piano sale for the Bellarmine Univeristy Music Department.
If you have been thinking about purchasing a new - or gently used - instrument for your home, you won't want to miss this rare opportunity.
Saturday, June 4, Gist will open its doors to the public for a "first-come, first-served" selling event. Doors will open at 10am and close at 5pm (or until the allocated pianos have all been selected - whichever comes first).
College loaner pianos, closeout models, factory overstock units, "scratch and dent" specials and rental return instruments from such major brands as Boston, Essex, Yamaha, Kawai, Knabe, Knabe, Roland and more will be offered at a fraction of their value for this one-day-only sale.
Priority delivery and special financing offers will be made available to qualified customers at the sale. No dealers please.

Gist Named "Top 100" Music Dealer
Gist Piano Cener was recently named one of the "Top 100 Music Dealers" in the US by the National Association of Music Manufacturers.
Chosen for "...a creative committment to music education, advocacy and cultural development in the Louisville and Lexington areas," the award recognizes Gist's famous Partners In Education (PIE) program and the many educational events Gist has sponsored over the last year.
"We are particularly honored by this recognition," said John Gist. "We take our mission of building a musicial future for Kentucky seriously and it's very gratifying to have an entire association of music vendors and music dealers recognize us for our efforts."
Gist will receive formal recognition at the summer NAMM convention in Nashville, TN.
Gist Closed in Honor of Derby
In celebration of the great Kentucky Derby, Gist Piano Center will be closed in Louisville and Lexington on Saturday, May 7.
James and Amber will be partying (responsibly) around town. ...and
rumor has it that Amber has found QUITE the amazing Derby hat this year!
